Visit the mountain towns of Orvieto and Assisi, the home of Saints Francis and Clare

We will travel by private coach to these wonderful towns in the Umbrian countryside. See the stunning 14th century CathedralChurch in Orvieto right on the town square. After coffee and a morning pastry we're off to Assisi. We'll visit the Basilicas of St. Francis and St. Clare, the Cathedral Church of San Rufino. We'll go up Mount Subasio to the hermitage of St. Francis.

We'll have a nice lunch at one of the local restaurants there, and after a long day we return to Rome for a welcome rest....
